Beer VatThe North End Tavern first opened its doors in 1899 as a small neighborhood pub in Parkersburg’s North End. Over the last century, the NET has grown into a restaurant and brewery and into a Parkersburg tradition.

We offer our customers a varied menu including many German-American favorites, sandwiches, and the famous NET burger, which many call, “the best burger in town!”

In 1997, the NET expanded into a brewpub with the addition of its microbrewery. We now regularly brew between 3 and 6 different handcrafted microbrews each month. Our brews have won several state-wide competitions. We sell our beer in many West Virginia establishments–just ask for Roedy’s Red among others.

The North End Tavern’s current owners acquired the business over 30 years ago and remain dedicated to maintaining an establishment where everyone feels welcome. The “NET,” as it is known by regulars, is widely recognized for its friendly, casual atmosphere. We strive to stay faithful to our local roots and strongly support community and West Virginia organizations and businesses.

We are also available to cater or host your special events. If you have any questions, please give us a call at (304) 428-5854.
